Good filling of polygastric stomachs offering an effective and economical fibre enrichment with dramatic growth potential to promote satiety and intestinal microbiota balance.

Corncob can be used as carrier, excipient or fiber intakes in various formulation with powder or liquids.

Thanks to tight and adapted particle size distribution the products, offered by COBEX, can overcome the constraints of various types of formulated products.

Ideal carrier for

  • specialties, medicated feed additives, premixes, vitamins, enzymes, probiotics, yeasts, essential oils, flavours, organic acids, all types of additives (in wet or dry forms).
  • The porous structure, the neutrality and the stability of corn cob makes it a suitable structure for bacterial growth.

  • Absorption and release: an alveolar internal structure coupled with an important surface area allows interesting inclusion rate of Active Ingredients (AI) on Grits both by wet and dry process.
  • The high porosity of Grits (GM) ensures a natural and progressive release of the AI in the animal digestive system.
